The automatic power strip from the Secure Tec range from Brennenstuhl convinces with its master-slave function and overvoltage protection. In addition to a master and seven slave sockets, the strip has two permanent sockets that allow continuous operation. With a leakage current of up to 19500 A, you can protect valuable devices against surges.

With the on / off switch of a single device, which is plugged into the master socket, all other devices in the slave sockets can be automatically switched on and off. For example, as a master device, use a computer that includes monitors, printers, modems, etc. in the automatic controller as slave devices. As soon as the computer is switched on, its power consumption increases. This detects the intelligent electronics of this power strip and automatically turns on the slave sockets. After shutting down the computer, its power consumption drops back to standby. This is also recognized by the power strip and the slave sockets completely switched off with a delay. Of course, combinations with TV, radio or receiver are controllable.

The built-in overvoltage protection device prevents devices connected to the power strip from being damaged by voltage surges in the network, which can be caused, for example, by indirect lightning or by switching inductive loads such as motors, ovens or lamps. Even the permanent sockets are protected against overvoltage and constantly switched on, independent of the digital master-slave function, as soon as the main switch is switched on. With the two-pole, illuminated main switch, the power strip can be completely switched off.
