The DB1D is Bowers & Wilkins' most powerful subwoofer yet, and the best in its class. With its 2000-watt Class D amplifier, it has astonishing power reserves and fantastic low-frequency power. It offers maximum stability, providing the perfect base for its two symmetrically positioned 300mm Aerofoil drivers.

State-of-the-art digital technology
Integrated into the DB1D is a brand new digital preamplifier and thus the most modern digital technology. This subwoofer always plays at the optimal volume, and proven features such as Dynamic EQ and Room EQ ensure - whether in a home theater, Custsom installation or 2-channel hi-fi systems - precise audio reproduction.

Aerofoil for precise bass reproduction
The DB1D uses the Aerofoil diaphragms already successfully used in the 800 Series Diamond. Their thickness changes continuously across the cross-section. Therefore, they are stable exactly where they need to be and extremely light as well as very stiff. The DB1D features a 300 mm aerofoil diaphragm, the largest to date.

Symmetrically arranged drivers
The DB1D features two aerofoil diaphragms arranged symmetrically back-to-back. This arrangement keeps cabinet resonances to a minimum, and the sound is clean and precise. And the low bass response - simply gorgeous and without coloration.

Mobile App
The DB1D can be easily configured and controlled using a mobile app. This app includes instructions for positioning, setup, and troubleshooting. Thanks to room correction, the performance of your subwoofer can be adjusted automatically. The app is available for iOS and Android devices, and a separate microphone is not required.

Since the DB1D features the same Aerofoil woofers as the award-winning 800 Series Diamond, it is recommended as their perfect partner. However, it can also be ideally used in a system equipped with CM Series loudspeakers, providing owners of these high-quality speakers with top-notch low bass performance.
