The housing of the AM-1 must be weatherproof and protected against rain and splashing water. But a sealed enclosure is actually unfavorable for good bass reproduction. So the engineers at Bowers & Wilkins have developed a clever auxiliary bass radiator to give the compact housing a powerful bass response.

We wanted the AM-1 to be small, robust and flexible. By combining a slim wall bracket, a clever one-plug mounting system and a possible 220° rotation, we can deliver flawless sound wherever you want it - indoors or outdoors.
