Removing the carriage:
The carriage can be removed for cleaning with a simple lever movement. When the carriage is removed, the slicer is automatically locked by a CE safety device. When the carriage is reinserted, the lever is released and the machine is ready to operate again. An important innovation that makes cleaning the slicer easier while allowing the carriage to be removed with a quick hand motion.

Removing the blade guard:
The blade guard can be removed effortlessly and quickly. Simply rotate it 90° and then pull it out without any further movements: for optimal cleaning of the machine with a simple hand motion. It can be quickly reattached with a slight press and a twist.

Integrated sharpening device:
All Red Line slicers feature an integrated sharpening device for proper sharpening of the blade. Positioning is done manually by simply lifting and turning the sharpening device. There is only one position, which requires no manual adjustment and thus always guarantees the optimal angle for a perfect sharpening result.

Knob for adjusting slice thickness:
The Red Line slicers are equipped with an integrated system that guarantees precise adjustment of the gauge plate opening up to 14 mm. The numbers on the thickness adjustment knob indicate the actual slice thickness in millimeters, allowing for extremely fine adjustments and unprecedented repeat accuracy, especially for thin and frequently used thicknesses.
