The VM8824 is a True 4K HDMI output card that works with an ATEN Modular Matrix Switch and provides an easy way to route 4 analog/digital audio/video sources to 4 HDMI displays with support for high-resolution True 4K images. In addition to the HDMI interface, which transmits the digital A/V signal, the VM8824 also offers 4 stereo audio output connections, enabling HDMI audio extraction.

As video wall applications always require fast video switching and resolution adjustment, the VM8824 supports Seamless Switch™ technology, allowing real-time video switching, an integrated 4K scaler that processes various video resolutions, and EDID Expert technology for quick, smooth switching between displays. All ATEN VM series I/O cards support hot-swap installations, providing system integrators with great flexibility and efficiency in maintenance. The VM series I/O cards, together with the modular ATEN Matrix Switches, offer ideal solutions that perfectly meet your requirements for multi-interface video applications.
