The KL1508Ai KVM switch is an LCD KVM switch in a dual-rail design that enables control of up to 8 computers from a single console (keyboard, monitor, and mouse). It features a built-in LCD screen, a full-sized keyboard, and a touchpad, and is mounted in a 1U rackmount for 19-inch racks in a retractable housing.

The LCD monitor and the keyboard module with touchpad can be pulled out of the rack independently. To create more space in the data center, the keyboard module with touchpad can be pushed in while the slim LCD screen remains extended and flat against the rack for monitoring the computers - allowing for easy monitoring of computer activity.

The KL1508Ai provides local and remote sysops with the ability to monitor and control multiple computers over an IP network. Since it uses the TCP/IP protocol for communication, the KL1508Ai can be operated from any computer in the LAN, WAN, or Internet - regardless of whether it is in the same room, across the street, or on another continent.
