ATEN AP206 2 x 60W power amplifier with DSP

The ATEN AP206 is a two-channel DSP amplifier that delivers 60W per channel in a compact housing. With support for balanced and unbalanced line-level inputs and the ability to drive 4-ohm low-impedance or 70/100V lines (in bridge mode), the AP206 is suitable for a wide range of sound reinforcement applications. The integrated DSP, which can be configured via an intuitive web GUI, allows for speaker EQ, 5-band EQ, delay, limiter, and up to 20 presets for precise tuning and comprehensive protection of the audio system. A ground lift eliminates unwanted hum from the circuit. Thanks to the Class-D design and ENERGY STAR qualification of the amplifier, it provides an impressive sound experience without compromising energy efficiency, saving energy and reducing operating costs. The customizable auto standby mode allows the AP206 to automatically enter sleep mode when the signal level falls below -40/-50 dBu for 10/15/25 minutes.

The system protection circuit safeguards the AP206 and connected speakers from damage due to short circuits, over- or under-voltage, high-frequency overload, and overheating. Additionally, the amplifier is muted when the temperature of the heatsink exceeds the threshold. The fanless design avoids fan noise and prevents dust accumulation inside the housing.

The AP206 is designed for ultimate flexibility and features an expansion slot for the AP901 2-CH Dante Expansion Card to make the sound system compatible with the Dante network, or the AP902 2-CH Mic/Line Pre-AMP Expansion Card to receive two channels for microphone/line input signals. The amplifier can also be integrated into the VK control system via RS-232 and Ethernet for comprehensive control even from a distance. Depending on installation needs, mounting hardware for rack or surface mounting is available.
