APC's AP7920B rack power rail provides you with the power where your equipment needs it: in the rack. The device provides eight individually switchable C13 sockets and can be easily managed via a web interface.

Management over the network

Configuration and monitoring of the device is possible using the SNMP and Telnet protocols as well as a web-based interface. Future product improvements may update the firmware of the device.

Switching and load delay

The device allows you to remotely turn on and off individual outputs. For example, you can disconnect unused devices from the power supply without having to be on-site. An arbitrarily adjustable load delay allows the sequencing of the switching on and off and thus avoids load peaks, which can lead to overload of the circuit. In addition, it is possible to set the startup and shutdown sequence in such a way that equipment dependent on other equipment is not switched on until the required devices are already in operation.

Current flow monitoring with alarm function

If the freely configurable load limits are still exceeded, the device alerts you by optical signals as well as notification via the network.
