Iron filter with 10 inch housing
Iron filter with 10 inch housing e.g. against iron content in well water
Water deferrization cartridge contains a special, fine-grained granulate with high ability to extract the iron ions from the water. According to the Drinking Water Treatment Ordinance, iron may not exceed 0.2 mg in drinking water. Otherwise, at higher values, discoloration, turbidity and unpleasant taste of the water will occur. The pipelines become encrusted and corroded. The filter cartridges are specially designed to prevent such problems. The water flows through all the ion-exchanging granules and the maximum filtration efficiency is ensured by.
-Eliminates the orange-brown tint and prevents harmful sedimentation
-Reduction of ionized iron up to 2 mg/l
-10 µm polypropylene - filter liner
- Operating temperature: 2-52 C
-flow rate: approx. 3 liters per minute (depending on line pressure)
- Capacity up to 2000 liters or up to 4 months
-pressure drop: 0,2-0,4 bar
- suitable for all 10" filter housings
Note: Please do not pressurize the cartridges directly, but soak them in water for a few minutes first. This prevents the filter granulate from being pressed in. If you pressurize the cartridge directly, the filter granules will be compressed and may not allow the water to pass through. If you first place the filter cartridge in the water without pressure, the filter granules will swell and fill the entire cartridge housing.
