1 x odor filter for use in Miele cooker hoods in recirculation mode. Replaces the filter DKF 12-1, 0622873.

In addition to the stainless steel metal filter, which absorbs grease particles, activated carbon filters are used in cooker hoods in recirculation mode.
Unpleasant kitchen odors are stored in the micropores of the activated carbon and neutralized.

If you operate your Miele range hood with recirculation, make sure that the operating hours counter of your hood is activated. It reliably indicates when the odor filter needs to be changed. Only if you change it regularly can your Miele cooker hood work properly in recirculation mode.

With all cooker hoods, i.e. in both recirculation and exhaust mode, the grease filters must also be cleaned regularly when the indicator light is on. As a rule, this is the case every 3-4 weeks. The operating instructions for your Miele cooker hood contain all the information you need for optimum care and cleaning.

Please note: An over-greased filter means fire hazard!
