Bread & Fred is a challenging co-op platformer from Apogee where two players must work together to jump and climb to the summit of a snowy mountain. Step into the roles of both Bread and Fred on their nerve-wracking and sometimes maddening ascent, requiring precision with every jump. With each landing, you get closer to the peak and one step further on the path to mastering the platforming challenges—but your fall down the mountain will be all the deeper.

• Bread & Fred is a challenging co-op platformer where two players must work together to jump and climb to the summit of a snow-covered mountain. Step into the roles of both Bread and Fred on their nerve-wracking and sometimes maddening ascent, requiring precision with every jump. With each landing, you get closer to the peak and one step further on the path to mastering the platforming challenges—but your fall down the mountain will be all the deeper.
• Co-op Mode: Swing to reach distant platforms! Bread and Fred are connected. That means you don’t just fall together—you can also use the momentum to swing and propel each other farther than any single penguin could ever jump. Just make sure one of you is holding on to the ground, or you’ll both fall!
• Hold on to the walls as long as possible! The little penguin hands aren’t very skillful, but you and your partner can cling to a wall for a few seconds to swing around it and overcome the next obstacle. Be careful though. These penguins are chubby, so you can’t hold on for long. Act fast!
• Single Player Mode: Can’t find your penguin buddy? Tie your rope to Jeff (a rock!) and use him instead! The climb depends entirely on you and your skill, but that also means you can’t blame anyone else if you fall...

Legend has it that some penguin heroes with these skills have reached the summit. Will you be one of them?
Every fall will hurt, but try to learn from it and take it with a sense of humor. Think carefully about every jump and master the penguin skills to reach the peak.

For the most daring climbers, "Bread & Fred" offers a speedrun mode where you can compete against each other and crown yourselves the best penguin duo in the world.
