The espresso puck screen is placed on the coffee cake pressed down with the tamper, ensuring an even water flow. The channeling effect is reduced, achieving a uniform extraction of the entire coffee grounds. This allows all the aromatic compounds from the coffee to be extracted.

Another advantage is that the brew head remains clean and tidy due to minimal contact with the coffee grounds. The coffee cake becomes more compact and can be ejected in one piece without leaving a mess.

This puck screen fits perfectly on 53 mm portafilters and reduces waste of coffee grounds.

The screen has a thickness of 0.8 mm, so the amount of coffee grounds does not need to be reduced. The entire screen is made of stainless steel (SUS304), making it very robust and durable. The mesh count of the screen is 11848.
