P-Touch Stencil Tape STe-151

The original Brother STe-151 stencil tape with white text on a transparent background (non-adhesive) has been specifically designed for electrolytic labeling. It features a temperature-sensitive layer that contains ink or a special liquid for direct marking on electrically conductive surfaces or metal parts. When the stencil is printed, small holes are integrated, allowing the electrolyte to penetrate the tape during the subsequent etching process. A stamp with marking felt or similar is placed on the tape and pressed into the metal (required electrochemical equipment not available from Brother). Finally, the metal changes color and is permanently marked with a serial number, barcode, or logo.
