Ponal Wood Glue Waterproof - wood glue for waterproof assembly, joint and surface gluing The waterproof glue is perfect for gluing in bathrooms or in the kitchen. The white glue can be used for gluing various types of wood such as HPL boards or wood-based materials*. The wood glue impresses with its high bonding strength and clean results, as it dries transparently and can be painted over with water-based acrylic lacquer after setting. In addition to gluing surfaces and joints, the construction adhesive can also be used to install windows, doors, dowels, slots and tenons. As a waterproof adhesive, all objects can be glued in rooms with high humidity. *Not suitable for polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) and Teflon (PTFE), sensitive textiles. Application: 1. do not use the adhesive at temperatures below 5°C (white point). The open time at a room temperature of 20°C is max. 10 minutes. 2. apply wood glue thinly on one side using a brush, plastic glue comb (Ponal comb), hand glue roller or glue application machine. For hardwoods such as beech or oak, apply the glue on both sides. Caution: Ponal must not come into contact with ferrous tools (risk of discoloration). 3. pressing can be carried out cold or warm and with the usual tools, devices or presses. For simple gluing at 20°C with screw clamps, the first strength is achieved after 15 to 20 minutes. The pressing times and temperatures are noted in the technical data sheet. 4 If the objects are pressed while warm, do not continue processing until they have cooled down. When bonding window or door frames, a waiting time of at least 1 hour must be taken into account.
