The PGD ARCH helmet is a high cut helmet that offers space to wear hearing protection or communication equipment at the same time.

The helmet can easily be adjusted to your needs. It adapts to your head in 2-3 seconds and feels like a "flying" helmet because it fits well without feeling tight. This is made possible by the 10 memory foam pad liner system in the helmet.

The PGD-10-Pad Memory Foam Technology is a specially developed foam technology that reduces blunt force trauma from gunshots while providing incredible comfort. Memory Foam was originally developed for use by NASA to protect against "impact".

The foam, which is attached with Velcro, can be replaced very easily.

An ARCH helmet is made from Dupont Kevlar Aramid. Dupont is one of the world's leading manufacturers of aramid fibers.

This means you have a bulletproof helmet that is NIJ 0106.01 Level 3a approved and protects your Kevlar helmet up to .44 Magnum.

In addition, the V50 helmet has been tested to STANAG2920, the NATO standard for testing bulletproof materials, at up to 700 m/s against fragments and shrapnel (17grs).

When a bulletproof helmet stops a projectile or shrapnel, a standard helmet is affected within 130mm of the impact, also known as blunt force trauma.

The PGD ARCH ballistic helmet is only affected in an area of up to 75mm around the impact. It makes a big difference how low the helmet is bent on the head and how much the helmet mitigates the impact.

An ARCH helmet reduces the impact depth by up to 50% (according to HPW-TP-0401.01B IIIA), with an average trauma of 11.2mm for a 9mm. It offers significantly more safety and the chance of surviving the trauma of a shot is greater.
