The new Genesis App from Vaxtor is a high-performance application for the automatic capture of any text and digit codes made up of Latin uppercase letters (A to Z) and Arabic numerals (0 to 9) with a total length of 2 to 24 characters. Unlike specialized applications that can only be used in a single area (license plates, container codes, etc.), the Genesis App is nearly universal and suitable for numerous applications.

• Industry codes

By capturing SIC codes, inventory numbers on company property, product labels, or nameplates, workflows can be automated, and time-consuming manual checks can be completed in a fraction of the original time.

• ID cards

The capture and verification of ID cards—whether personal ID, company ID, or membership cards and the like—are typically a time-consuming manual process and often prone to errors. With the Genesis App on a MOBOTIX camera, this becomes child's play.

• Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN)

In the automotive sector, nothing often works without providing the VIN, which allows for a unique assignment to a vehicle. This very long string of letters and numbers is captured by the Genesis App with high reliability and frequency.

• Serial numbers

High-quality industrial and consumer goods such as machines, vehicles, sports equipment, electronic devices, and so-called "white goods" have nameplates and serial numbers. These can be captured and processed automatically by having a MOBOTIX camera with the Genesis App monitor the process during production, inventory control, or disposal, etc., and document the results seamlessly.
