Scalability is achieved through the various available cummerbunds, flaps, and back panels. One of them is the RAPID ACCESS CUMMERBUND in Coyote Brown. It is based on the design of the Modular Cummerbund and features innovative ROC buckles. The cummerbund is attached at the front with Velcro, just like the standard cummerbund. However, to open or close it, you no longer need to lift the front flap; you simply pull on one of the drawstrings to open the buckle, or you push the buckle down to close it. And even more importantly: The buckles are silent. These buckles are also easier to operate when triaging the wounded.
