It can not only serve as a standard plate carrier, but with this additional SPITFIRE MK II CHEST RIG INTERFACE, it can be transformed into a pure front plate carrier, without a back panel. The INTERFACE consists of the shoulder piece and small, modular side panels. It also works perfectly with any backpack.
