Direct Action Dragon Egg MK II Backpack® Ranger Green

The Dragon Egg® MK II Backpack, here in Ranger Green, is a 25+ liter backpack suitable for both short patrol missions and as a larger EDC pack. The backpack features three zippered compartments. The main compartment includes an internal hydration bladder sleeve and a mesh pocket. It also has a central hose exit for a hydration tube. The rear compartment has a padded sleeve designed to securely carry multiband radios or laptops up to 15". The front pocket of the Direct Action® Dragon Egg® features a zippered mesh pocket and an internal organizer for notebooks, GPS devices, writing tools, and other small items. Two newly redesigned side pockets can hold small and flat items. These pockets are equipped with elastic cords that expand to fit a standard U.S. field bottle or a 1-liter Nalgene water bottle.

The Direct Action® Dragon Egg® also includes a soft velour-lined zippered pocket for glasses, phones, etc. The backpack is equipped with a daisy-chain webbing running along the seam of the front panel to attach carabiners or similar gear. The laser-cut MOLLE/PALS-compatible system not only makes the backpack fully modular but also gives it a low-profile appearance. Thanks to its egg shape, the backpack has less height and width than other packs with similar capacity, making it more comfortable when worn with belt kits or ballistic vests. The carrying system is based on comfortable shoulder straps and internal back stiffening. The hip belt is removable and stowable.

Made from durable 500D Cordura® nylon fabric with a water-repellent coating. Combat Vent System® (CVS®), the innovative ventilation system used in backpacks to enhance carrying comfort. Made from contoured foam profiles with multiple air channels combined with breathable mesh, CVS® keeps the pack away from the back, improving airflow and preventing heat buildup and sweating.
