Xtreme® coolers

Whether at a barbecue, picnic, on the campsite or while fishing - you can't do without a cool box in summer. At Coleman® all coolers have strong insulation and a robust, high-quality design. They can take a beating - summer after summer. The cool boxes from the Xtreme® line can keep ice frozen for up to five days thanks to full foam insulation. In addition, they have swing handles (model Wheeled Cooler without swing handles, but with a telescopic handle for pulling the cool box), integrated can holders and a leak-proof drain. Tests have shown that 30 percent of the cold escapes through the lid and another 30 percent through the bottom. Coleman® has therefore increased the insulation in the lid and base and reduced it accordingly in the body. This allows the external dimensions to be reduced, but this is not at the expense of the capacity or the cooling capacity. The cool boxes from the Xtreme® line can keep ice frozen for up to five days thanks to full foam insulation. They also have swing handles, integrated can holders and a leak-proof drain.

When a cool box comes into contact with a warm floor, the heat is transferred directly to the cool box. If the box is slightly above the ground, the heat is dissipated through the air (air is a good insulation layer)

Improved efficiency

Tests have shown that 30% of the cooling capacity is lost through the lid and another 30% through the bottom. Newer models therefore have more insulation in the top and bottom, but less insulation on the sides. This makes the outer dimensions of the box more compact, but the inner dimensions and the capacity remain the same.

Optimized shape

Extensive research has shown that the spherical shape is the best shape for high cooling performance. Since a round shape is poorly suited for coolers, the corners have been flattened to get as close to the round shape as possible and to optimize the cooling performance accordingly.
