Compact microphone with excellent directivity

Eight high performance microphones use a newly developed beamforming algorithm to achieve an extremely clear directivity that effectively suppresses off-axis noise. The microphone with a length of only 99.3 mm is surprisingly compact.

Excellent sound, low noise

When connected through the multi-interface accessory shoe of a compatible camera that has a built-in digital audio interface, the audio signal is transmitted directly to the camera in digital form, so no sound is lost. A simple toggle switch also allows compatibility with a wide range of cameras via an analog interface.

Mechanical noise cancellation

The modern shock and vibration suppression design effectively minimizes low-frequency or handling noise that can affect audio quality. Since no connection cables are needed, unwanted noise is not transmitted mechanically via cables and connectors to the microphone.

Wireless connection

Simply attach the microphone to the accessory shoe of a compatible camera for direct power and audio connections - with no extra cables or batteries. Sony's multi-interface accessory shoe provides intelligent connectivity and control capabilities for a variety of accessories for maximum flexibility and portability with ? devices.
