When the sun sets in the terrain, your ride doesn't have to end. If your speed changes, the Varia UT800 adjusts accordingly. When paired with compatible Edge bike computers, the brightness is adjusted so you can ride safely with the right light.​

Smart Insight
Thanks to its smart features, the Varia UT800 can be paired with compatible Edge computers equipped with light sensors. After pairing, the Varia UT800 Helmet Light1 automatically adjusts the light intensity based on speed and route profile2, providing more light when you ride faster while conserving battery at lower speeds. It also automatically adapts to ambient light and battery capacity, allowing you to ride longer. You can turn the light on or off, adjust the brightness, and more with the press of a button on the Edge computer or a dedicated remote control.

Diverse Visibility
The Varia makes it easy to adjust the light intensity to the conditions. The Varia UT800 Helmet Light1 features five light modes: Power (800 lumens), Standard (400 lumens), Eco (200 lumens), Night Flash mode (100 to 300 lumens), and Day Flash mode (over 700 lumens). At full intensity, the light can be seen during the day from a distance of up to 1.6 kilometers.

Ready to Ride
The Helmet Light1 is small and lightweight. It can be mounted on the helmet using the provided bracket. The smart light weighs less than 140 grams.
