Carbon Dome tweeter

The Carbon Dome tweeter is designed specifically for the 700 Series. It offers a dramatic improvement over the aluminum double dome tweeter. The imaging accuracy can thus be improved once again.

Continuum midrange / bass driver

Thanks to the composite construction, the Continuum™ driver avoids abrupt behavioral transitions that can affect the performance of a conventional mid/bass driver. The result is an open and neutral reproduction of voices and musical instruments.

Curved baffle

The 700 S3 Series features a curved front baffle for the first time. This allows the midrange and bass/midrange drivers to be housed in individual pod-like enclosures that protrude above the baffle. Combined with the curvature of the baffle, this approach reduces the audible impact of the enclosure on the sound and creates a clearer, more open listening experience.
