Typically, portable Bluetooth speakers are small, and even when they are larger, they are still not as big as the new Soundboks - ?big- not only in terms of size but also in terms of features and quality: A battery life of up to 40 hours at half volume, a sound level of up to 126 dB SPL, Bluetooth 5.0, and the ability to connect five devices together are just a few of the things that ?the New- from Soundboks excels at. In addition to the wireless connectivity, the portable speaker is equipped with two 3.5mm stereo jacks and two combined microphone and instrument inputs. Pretty loud, pretty cool
In a housing that is 66 cm high and 43 cm wide, a total of three speakers fit inside the box. Two 10" woofers and a 1" tweeter deliver a solid punch and guarantee a loud party. An effective frequency range of 40 Hz to 20 kHz and a tailored sound profile with bass enhancement provide a balanced sound that remains distortion-free even at higher volumes. Soundboks largely forgoes controls on the box itself. Only a power switch, a volume control, and a button for the ?TeamUp?-mode are located on the side of the box. Instead, extensive remote access to advanced EQ and sound options, input settings, line and mic levels, and more is enabled through the Soundboks app.

About Soundboks
Soundboks originated from the idea of three Danish friends who wanted to stand out amidst the Roskilde Festival with loud music and breathtaking parties. The Soundboks label is based on a speaker that was developed as a result of this endeavor. The prototype withstood everything that wild parties have to offer. After the friends initially did not place much value on durability and performance, their original idea began to gain momentum after developing their own battery. After selling the first 400 units, they raised over $500,000 through a Kickstarter campaign, which allowed for further development of the speaker. Since then, Soundboks has sold more than 50,000 devices in 40 different countries.

A battery with high runtime, the option to replace the battery, extreme sound pressure, solid carrying handles, and a relatively low weight make the new Soundboks the perfect companion for on the go. Whether for small spontaneous gigs in shopping streets, a cozy beach party with friends, or a techno escalation on the outskirts of the city: steel mesh grills, poplar housing according to IP65, and silicone corner bumpers effectively protect it from weather influences and mechanical damage. The wireless and wired connections allow for connection with all common playback devices, microphone, and instrument cables.
