The CFexpress Type A Tough from Sony utilizes the latest flash technology to achieve write speeds of 700 MB/s and read speeds of 800 MB/s with minimal cache clearing times. The CFexpress Type A cards are ideal for capturing over 1,000 uncompressed RAW images in rapid succession or recording 4K 120p films with high bit rates, especially with the new Alpha 7S III. It features two slots for CFexpress Type A or SDXC/SDHC cards (compatible with UHS-I or UHS-II cards). This allows for simultaneous recordings over extended periods even at high bit rates. An update of Sony's Media Scan Utility diagnostic software allows users of CFexpress Type A cards to receive diagnostics and corresponding notifications when the number of write/read cycles approaches the card's limit.
