Tilta Basic Kit for Canon R5C

With the Basic Kit for the Canon R5C, you can get the most out of your R5C. It provides protection for the camera body and includes useful accessories to enhance the functionality of the Canon R5C in a video production environment.

The Basic Kit offers many options for mounting various accessories, such as 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads with different mounting points, multiple cold shoe connections, an ARRI rosette mount, NATO rails for top and side handles, and mounting points for the optional Tilta Single Rod Holders.

The cage is attached to the camera body via a 1/4"-20 screw and features an additional contact pin that prevents the camera from slipping in the cage. The built-in silicone pads keep the camera body in place and protect it from scratches that could be caused by the cage.

The included clamp attachment is mounted on the side of the cage and allows for the attachment of the optional HDMI to Micro HDMI adapter and an optional USB-C cable. This prevents these cables from coming loose during recording and provides additional protection for the ports.

The included quick release top handle can be attached to the top of the cage and offers a comfortable way to handle the camera and shoot from low angles. The top handle features multiple cold shoe connections and 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting points for attaching external monitors or other accessories. A horizontal 15mm rod holder is integrated into the handle to allow for various mounting options, such as attaching an EVF or an external monitor.

Additionally, the base plate offers several mounting options for different quick release plates and natively supports the Tilta Smart V Mount Battery Baseplate and the LWS Baseplate Type IV.
The base plate of the cage provides full access to the battery compartment and also includes a slot for the included magnetic screwdriver.

The included lens mount is attached to the front of the cage and provides additional support for an RF to EF lens adapter. This creates an additional contact point between the cage and the lens adapter, contributing to a more secure connection and limiting image shifts that can be caused by follow focus systems.
