The Profoto Softbox Rectangular can be set up in seconds thanks to its integrated speedring, producing impressive, soft light. Its shape casts gentle light with long shadow edges on the long side and a harder light with short shadow edges on the short side; thus, it is ideal for edge and stripe lighting. This essential light modifier enhances the contours and profiles of objects and effectively separates the subject from the background.

With its all-in-one mounting system, the Profoto Softbox Strip is incredibly easy to set up. Folding in and out takes just seconds. Additionally, the softness and intensity of the light can be adjusted using the removable and interchangeable diffuser. The recessed front ensures an even distribution of the naturally appearing light. Being heat-resistant, it is also compatible with flash units that use halogen lamps (up to 500 W) as continuous light.

The Profoto Softbox Strip comes with a range of accessories, providing photographers who want precise control over their light with enormous creative freedom.

Note: When used with ProHead at power level 10 (2400 Ws) and continuous light (500 W) at full effect, a maximum of 8 flashes per minute is recommended to prevent the connector ring from becoming too hot to touch.
