The 8-port Gigabit Desktop Switch DGS-1008D is part of D-Link's SOHO device series, which allows you to easily expand and extend your network. D-Link's "Green" technology saves energy, reduces waste heat and extends service life without sacrificing performance or features.

This compact switch offers eight plug & play connections to small offices, workgroups and departmental networks with 10/100/1000Mbit. The Gigabit switch does not require a fan and is therefore ideal for use directly at the workplace.

The DGS-1008D supports speeds of up to 2000Mbit/s (full duplex) as well as flow control in accordance with IEEE 802.3x for fast and continuous data transmission. For time-critical applications, the desktop switch supports the 802.1p protocol (QoS).
