With a cutting capacity of 16 A4 sheets, the HP OneShred 16MC is the most powerful micro-cut shredder the HP OneShred series has to offer. In micro cut, the modern helper in black and white design shreds sensitive documents such as patient files and process documents into 2 mm x 15 mm small shreds. The reliable office shredder thus meets the high requirements of security level P-5 and ensures legally compliant destruction of personal documents. This makes it an indispensable companion in open-plan offices, law firms and medical practices. Should you ever forget to switch off the document shredder after use: After 30 minutes, the office shredder automatically puts itself into sleep mode and has a power consumption of less than 0.5 watts.

Although the HP OneShred 16MC weighs a tidy 18.4 kg, it can still be easily placed wherever it is needed thanks to its four casters, two of which are lockable. The generous waste garbage can for the clippings can be pulled out and has a capacity of 30 liters. If the bin is open or needs to be emptied, this is signaled via an LED indicator on the front.

Fortunately, paper clips, staples and credit cards do not cause any difficulties for the reliable HP OneShred 16MC, so you do not need to remove them first before shredding entire stacks of documents.

After continuous operation of over 30 minutes, the paper shredder needs a break to cool down before it is fully operational again. Of course, the paper shredder has an automatic rewind function in case of a paper jam as well as an overheating and overload indicator.

Normally, the HP OneShred 16MC works relatively quietly with an operating noise of under 65 decibels. To ensure that this is also the case in the long term, you should clean the cutting unit regularly. For this purpose, you can use the HP oil paper, for example, one sheet of which is included in the shredder's scope of delivery.
