Designed for Competition
Building on the essence of the famous XM Claw-Grip shape, the internals of the XM2 have been carefully redesigned to achieve a weight of approximately 62 g — all while maintaining a robust, perforated chassis design. The XM2w 4k v2 is the brainchild of esports veterans and has been meticulously tailored to meet the high demands of competitive gaming. It combines our custom PixArt PAW3950 🦚 sensor, the wireless Nordic nRF52840 MCU, and Endgame Gear’s exclusive Kailh GX SPDT switches with GX-Mode compatibility. For effortless customization, the mouse is supported by a fast 2.3 MB configuration tool that requires no installation and can be run directly from a USB stick — an ideal companion for LAN events, tournaments, or spontaneous setups.

Wireless Polling Rate up to 4000 Hz
To achieve the best possible performance, the XM2w 4k v2 is powered by Nordic’s wireless MCU nRF52840. The 4k dongle uses a Nordic nRF52820 to ensure stable and reliable wireless data transmission. Additionally, the dongle features a Nuvoton M483 MCU for high-speed USB connectivity, enabling high wireless polling rates of up to 4000 Hz for incredibly low sensor and click latency. The 4k dongle is included with the mouse, ensuring optimal performance right out of the box.

The XM2w 4k v2 sets new standards in wireless performance, boasting an average click latency of under 310 microseconds*. Thanks to a constant polling rate of 4000 Hz for clicks, you enjoy extremely low click latency at all available sensor polling rates. The GX-Speed mode further reduces click latency by approximately 1 ms. This exceptional responsiveness guarantees every click is registered instantly, giving you an edge in critical gaming moments and helping you win decisive duels. But that’s not all. We’ve optimized motion latency to an average of under 400 microseconds**, delivering unmatched responsiveness. Initial motion latency from a standstill remains consistently fast across all polling rate options, further strengthening your in-game advantage.

With a maximum resolution of up to 30,000 CPI, 750 IPS, and 50 G acceleration, every movement is captured with absolute accuracy and maximum impact. Optimize your setup with 11 lift-off distance levels from 0.7 to 1.7 mm and precise 10-step CPI settings below 10,000 CPI for full control. No smoothing, no angle snapping — just pure, uncompromising performance. Motion-Sync delivers consistently timed reports at polling rates up to 4000 Hz, sharpening your muscle memory and perfecting your competitive gameplay.

Now also available: an optional fixed sensor frame rate of 20,500 fps for even more responsive and precise tracking performance. Additionally, the "Sensor Angle Tuning" feature allows adjustment of the tracking axis from -127 to +127 degrees in 1-degree increments for grip styles where the mouse is not held straight in the movement direction, facilitating quick swings and enemy tracking.*

The mechanical Kailh GX switches are engineered for lightning-fast precision at all polling rates, ensuring you never miss a critical click. Their SPDT configuration guarantees optimal electrical contact and unmatched reliability. With contacts on both top and bottom, the Kailh GX switches excel whether you prefer low click latency in GX-Speed mode or safety in GX-Safe mode. What sets them apart is their crisp, well-defined click feel, providing tactile feedback for enhanced game control. Precise actuation and a balanced design enable flawless, spam-friendly rapid-fire actions.

Performance Comes First
We designed our wireless technology to prioritize performance above all else. By operating the sensor in permanent "Corded Mode" and having the Nordic 58240 MCU perform only minimal power-saving measures, we ensure unmatched responsiveness for your gaming experience. To balance high performance with long battery life, the sensor defaults to power-saving mode after 1 minute of inactivity and deep sleep mode after 3 minutes. Users can easily customize these settings to their gaming preferences and can fully disable both power-saving and deep-sleep modes. With default settings, the XM2w 4k v2 offers approximately 30 hours of battery life for uninterrupted gaming at a 4000 Hz polling rate, enabling gamers to play continuously at peak performance. The new 1000 Hz power-saving mode extends battery life to 54 hours for uninterrupted gaming.

Hybrid Glide Skates Design
The XM2w 4k v2 comes with two sets of PTFE glide skates (large and small) plus a sensor skate. Thanks to a hybrid bottom design, both large and small skates can be easily mounted, with the smaller skates installed by default. The larger surface area offers additional flexibility in adjusting the glide behavior of the XM2w 4k v2 and reusing previously purchased skates. The sensor skate is optional but recommended on softer surfaces. Thanks to improved adhesive on the v2 models, the skates can now be quickly and residue-free removed every time.
