Celestron SkyPortal WiFi Adapter

The SkyPortal WLAN module enables wireless control of almost any Celestron GOTO telescope with the mobile app "SkyPortal". In this app (a complete planetarium program), you can tap an observation target on the star chart or in a list and the telescope will automatically move to it. The telescope can also be operated without a hand controller, even alignment is possible via SkyPortal! With the new Celestron SkyPortal app you can also address your SkyQ adapter. SkyPortal is a fully-fledged planetarium program: hold your SmartPhone in the sky and you will see on the map which objects you have set; or search for an object and you will be guided to it. After SkyPortal has connected to your telescope via the WiFi module and the alignment has been carried out, you can also control it conveniently via your SmartPhone as usual. The software is based on SkySafari and is available free of charge for iOS (in the App Store) and Android (in the Play Store). The versions of SkySafari 4.x and higher with telescope control now also support the SkyPortal adapter. Compatible with the following Celestron mounts: Advanced VX, CG-5 (with CG-5 Aux. splitter), CGX, CGX-L, CPC, CPC DX, CGE, CGE Pro, CGEM, CGEM DX, CGEM II, LCM, NexStar GT (models from 2015 with Aux. splitter, Art. 93919), NexStar SE Series, NexStar SLT, SkyProdigy. SkyPortal is not compatible with older mounts such as NexStar i and NexStar GPS.
