Canon EF 50mm / 1.8 STM - Import

The high aperture of 1:1.8 allows for precise control of depth of field: It enables creative freedom to focus on the subject while blurring the rest of the image into a soft background. This directs the viewer's attention immediately to a specific area of the image. Furthermore, the lens, with its large maximum aperture, is ideally suited for use in low-light conditions.

With a focal length of 50mm, the lens is very well-suited for portrait photography when paired with an EOS DSLR with an APS-C sensor. Even on full-frame cameras, the EF 1:1.8/50mm STM is a practical lens for a wide range of everyday tasks, offering a natural field of view and corresponding perspective.

The lens features a minimum focusing distance of just 35 cm, allowing you to get even closer to the subject and achieve a higher magnification.
