This filter fits all refrigerator models that have an external water filter. The external water filter is installed outside the refrigerator between the 1/4 inch plastic hose (5-6mm diameter) connected to the cold water line.

The internal threads of the filter are still provided with hygienic protective caps that you can easily remove. So bacteria have no chance.

NOTE!!

At first glance, all filters look the same. But be careful, because it also still depends on the content of the cartridge. Unlike many cheap filters that are filled with leftovers, waste and with low-quality activated carbon, our filters are filled with high-quality and food-safe activated carbon from Switzerland, which is subject to the strict controls. Please also remember how high quality and expensive your refrigerators are. Therefore, make sure that the filters are vacuum packed, delivered with protective caps and have NSF or WATER QUALITY certificates.

The filter does not fit refrigerators that have an internal water filter.

Filter change:

For health and technical reasons, our filter manufacturers generally recommend changing the filter every 6 months, even if the filter has a larger capacity.

According to the recommendation of the equipment manufacturers, you should always replace the water filters IF:

• the associated warning light lights up on YOUR refrigerator (depending on the model),
• the refrigerator is not used for a long time,
• if there is an odor or the water is cloudy
• or at least every 6 months to be on the safe side!
